Check a Conference

Check, year by year, whether a conference's proceedings are actually indexed in Scopus. Search by conference name, acronym (e.g. IMCET) or the proceedings ISBN.

How to use this tool

The call for papers says “Scopus indexed” — is it true? Check whether the proceedings are really covered, year by year, against Elsevier's official Scopus source list.

  1. Search the ACRONYM (e.g. IMCET, ISCTURKEY) — long names change every year, acronyms do not.
  2. Add a year if you care about one edition (“ISCTURKEY 2022”); the verdict is then given for that year.
  3. If you have the ISBN of an earlier proceedings volume, search that — it is the most precise match.
  4. Read the verdict: “Yes — indexed in Scopus (2022 proceedings)”, “indexed, but not the year you asked”, or “No — no Scopus-indexed record”.
  5. Compare the listed volumes (year, title, publisher, ISBN) with what the organiser claims.

Scopus indexes the sources that publish proceedings, not conferences themselves; one edition may be covered while another is not. This screen is based on Elsevier's official source list.
